About the Opportunity
An established commercial roofing contractor is seeking a motivated Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to drive business growth throughout the Memphis market.
This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a strong hunter mentality who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and closing commercial opportunities. You'll be backed by an experienced operations team while enjoying unlimited earning potential and long-term career growth.
Commercial roofing experience is a plus, but candidates from related industries—including HVAC, building envelope, waterproofing, restoration, flooring, MEP, fire protection, facilities services, and other commercial construction trades—are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, referrals, and relationship building.
- Develop strong relationships with property owners, facility managers, property management firms, general contractors, and commercial building owners.
- Perform roof inspections and identify opportunities for repairs, maintenance, reroofing, and replacement projects.
- Prepare professional proposals, estimates, and presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborate with estimating, service, and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and commercial roofing solutions.
- Meet or exceed sales goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial construction sales, building products, facilities services, or related B2B sales.
- Existing relationships with commercial property owners, facility managers, industrial clients, schools, healthcare facilities, warehouses, or general contractors preferred.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience using CRM software.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout the territory.
- Comfortable accessing commercial rooftops for inspections and customer visits.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
