    Job Description

    A well-established commercial roofing contractor with more than 30 years in business is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join our team in Memphis, TN. Our company is built on a foundation of industry expertise and integrity, with a team averaging over three decades of roofing experience. We take pride in delivering dependable, high-quality roofing solutions and exceptional customer service to commercial and industrial clients across the region.

    This role is perfect for a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who excels at identifying client needs and providing customized solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop new business through cold calling, emails, networking, door-to-door visits, and referrals.

    • Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns and direct outreach.

    • Schedule and conduct meetings with key decision-makers.

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and follow-up.

    • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate roofing and service solutions.

    • Prepare detailed proposals, sales reports, and supporting documentation.

    • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.

    • Collaborate with the Service Manager and project teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and client satisfaction.

    • Manage service and repair projects generated through your sales efforts.

    • Perform related duties as needed.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Proven track record of sales success with measurable results.

    • Strong negotiation and closing skills, adaptable to different sales environments.

    • 3+ years of experience in roofing, construction, or a related industry preferred (not required).

    • Ability to identify, qualify, and close business opportunities in person and by phone.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.

    • Professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused mindset.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

    • Ability to climb ladders and perform roof inspections as required.

    • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.

    • Willingness to travel locally throughout the Memphis area (up to 80%).
