What You Bring
- Proven success selling profitable commercial roofing service agreements and/or restoration coating systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems, gather data, and draw solid conclusions.
- Excellent writing abilities for crafting persuasive proposals, reports, and business correspondence.
- Confident communication skills when presenting to customers, managers, and internal teams.
- Ability to engage effectively with a wide variety of clients.
- Hands-on experience conducting job walks, performing accurate takeoffs, and documenting site conditions—often requiring multiple site visits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general office technology.
- Strong organizational abilities and comfort working within established administrative procedures.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable roofing-specific estimating or sales experience—service and coating restoration background preferred.
- Full proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to demonstrate skills during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate roof conditions, blueprints, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate material costs, labor estimates, and comprehensive bid packages.
- Develop itemized takeoffs, pricing summaries, and bid abstracts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer products and warranties.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with property and facility managers, general contractors, and manufacturer reps.
- Prepare cost analyses used for scheduling, planning, budgeting, vendor selection, and determining overall project feasibility.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, project managers, purchasing teams, and leadership throughout the estimating and bidding process.
- Maintain an organized, centralized cost-estimating system to ensure historical data is tracked and utilized.
- Identify cost trends and recommend process or cost-efficiency improvements.
- Price change orders and participate in pre-construction, bid, and pre-qualification meetings.
