    A well-established commercial roofing contractor with over 30 years in business is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to join our team in Lisle, IL. Our company is built on decades of industry expertise, with a team averaging more than 30 years of roofing experience. We pride ourselves on providing reliable, high-quality roofing solutions and exceptional customer service across commercial and industrial markets.

    This position is ideal for a driven, relationship-oriented professional with strong sales skills and a commitment to delivering tailored solutions to clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generate new business through cold calls, emails, door-to-door visits, networking, and referrals.
    • Follow up on direct mail and marketing campaigns.
    • Schedule and conduct sales appointments with key decision-makers.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients through consistent communication and trust.
    • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate roofing solutions.
    • Prepare and present proposals, reports, and sales documentation.
    • Accurately maintain all sales activity and client information in CRM software.
    • Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
    • Manage service projects secured through your sales efforts.
    • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Proven success in sales with a strong record of achieving results.
    • Skilled negotiator with the ability to adapt to different sales situations.
    • 3+ years of experience in roofing, construction, or a related industry preferred (not required).
    • Ability to qualify leads, manage opportunities, and close deals both in person and over the phone.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to climb ladders and perform roof inspections as needed.
    • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
    • Willingness to travel locally up to 80% of the time.
