Commercial Roofing Service Foreman

Location: Omaha, NE
Compensation: $30–$35/hour | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Foreman to lead service crews performing commercial roof repairs, maintenance, inspections, and leak investigations throughout the Omaha market.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with strong commercial roofing troubleshooting skills, experience managing service technicians, and the ability to diagnose and resolve roofing issues efficiently. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering quality repairs, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring service work is completed safely and professionally.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise commercial roofing service technicians on daily service calls and repair projects.

• Diagnose roof leaks, identify problem areas, and determine appropriate repair solutions.

• Perform and oversee commercial roof repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections.

• Troubleshoot issues involving roof membranes, flashing, penetrations, drainage systems, and rooftop equipment.

• Coordinate daily service schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment.

• Ensure all repairs are completed according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

• Maintain detailed documentation of service work, including photos, repair reports, and material usage.

• Communicate directly with customers regarding roofing concerns, recommended repairs, and completed work.

• Monitor jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.

• Train and mentor service technicians while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

• Identify additional repair or maintenance needs and communicate opportunities to the Service Manager.

• Travel locally to customer sites and respond to service calls as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Commercial Roofing Service Foreman, Lead Service Technician, or experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician.

• Strong knowledge of commercial low-slope roofing systems and repair techniques.

• Hands-on experience with TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and/or roof coatings.

• Proven ability to troubleshoot leaks, identify roof deficiencies, and perform lasting repairs.

• Experience with roof inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency leak repairs.

• Ability to lead a small service crew while also performing hands-on roofing work.

• Strong understanding of flashing details, roof penetrations, drainage systems, and waterproofing.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize service calls, and manage time effectively.

• Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

• OSHA certification is preferred.
