We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Sales Representative to support and grow our commercial service and re-roofing business. This is an individual contributor role focused entirely on sales and estimating, with no team leadership or management responsibilities.
This position is ideal for a self-motivated roofing professional who understands how the business is built the traditional way through relationships, job knowledge, and credibility and who can also operate efficiently in a modern estimating environment. The role requires comfort preparing your own estimates, managing your opportunities from start to finish, and working closely with operations after a project is awarded.
The successful candidate will be trusted to own their pipeline, pricing, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow a book of commercial roofing business including service, maintenance, repairs, and re-roofing
Build and maintain long term relationships with building owners, property managers, and general contractors
Conduct site visits to evaluate roof conditions and recommend appropriate solutions
Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for service and re-roofing projects
Utilize our in-house Excel based estimating program for pricing and bid preparation
Planswift experience is a plus and will be leveraged when applicable
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution
Coordinate with internal project management and operations teams for smooth project handoff
Maintain organized records of opportunities, proposals, and sales activity
Qualifications
Four or more years of commercial roofing sales experience
Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, service work, and re-roofing scopes
Proven experience estimating your own work a plus
Comfortable using Excel based estimating tools
Planswift knowledge is a plus but not required
Self-directed with strong time management and accountability
Professional communicator with a relationship first sales approach
