A fast-growing domestic freight brokerage division, backed by decades of global logistics infrastructure, is hiring a Commercial Sales Leader to own and grow its U.S. market — a player-coach role managing a small domestic sales team in New Jersey while remaining an active producer yourself.

Title: Commercial Sales Leader (Domestic Freight Brokerage)

Location: Clark, NJ — fully onsite, 5 days/week

Compensation: $110,000–$150,000 base DOE, no formal commission cap; 100% company-paid medical and vision, 50% dental and dependent coverage, 401K with company match

Must-Haves:

• 7–10 years of domestic freight brokerage or 3PL experience
• Proven individual sales contributor with a strong track record closing new shipper business
• Leadership experience or clear, demonstrated readiness to lead a team
• Entrepreneurial mindset — has built something before or ready to
• Shipper-facing sales background (carrier-side only experience is not a fit; freight forwarding backgrounds are not equivalent)
• Based in NJ metro or open to relocating

Strong Pluses:

• RFQ and contracted freight experience
