JOB TITLE:  FINANCIAL ANALYST INTERN                                                REPORTS TO:  SENIOR ANALYST

DEPARTMENT: ACCOUNTING                                                                FLSA STANDARD:  NON-EXEMPT

JOB DESCRIPTION:  We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to join our team! You will conduct quantitative analyses of various investment and financial programs.

JOB DUTIES:

·          Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations

·          Assist with determining financial status and analyze forecast results

·          Perform month-end valuation for assigned funds

·          Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data

·          Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation

·          Assist in preparing profit and loss models

·          Other duties as assigned by manager or other members of plant management team

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·          Experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields

·          Advanced spreadsheet skills

·          Strong attention to detail

·          Strong analysis and critical thinking skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

·          Currently pursuing undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·          Previous experience in a manufacturing industry
