We are assisting a highly respected, south Texas based commercial general contractor who specializes in a range of construction services, including commercial, education, and industrial projects throughout the coast bend. This GC is known for its commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, and has a team of experienced professionals who work closely with clients to deliver successful projects.

Due to exponential growth, they are looking to add a commercial Superintendent with experience in all facets of commercial construction. The company’s portfolio is very diverse with projects of all sizes and in all sectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Commercial, K-12, Higher Ed, or Municipal construction
• Managed crews of ten (10) or more tradesmen
• Managed all subcontractors on a single project.
• Organize site project progress meetings, compile meeting minutes and perform preconstruction meetings.
• OSHA 30 hour, First Aid/CPR
• Ability to perform layout with use of construction survey equipment is a plus.
• Understanding of plans, specifications and construction documents
• Strong work ethic, decisive, ambitious, with an unwavering commitment to quality
• High level of motivation, integrity, and commitment to team and customer
• Results-orientated with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Ability to provide leadership field personal and subcontractors
• Ability to manage owner expectations
