Commercial TSG Title Examiner

National title company is seeking a Commercial TSG Title Examiner with experience performing examination on complex transactions which require knowledge of state foreclosure statutes.

Essential Functions:

· Search public records and examine titles to determine legal condition of primarily commercial or industrial property title.

· Abstracts and analyzes records, such as leases, subleases, acreage, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plot and map books. Determines ownership and legal restrictions and to verify legal description of property and completeness of records for examinations, including multi-site properties.

· Resolves most issues such as missing information, incomplete, inaccurate or contradictory information contained in the title documentation

· Writes title products based on the application of procedural guidelines, requiring interpretation.

• Able to identify parties to be noticed throughout a foreclosure action according to state statutes

Job Qualifications:

· 3+ years examining commercial TSG files

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Complex problem solving skills

· Self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure and remain flexible to changing schedules and demands.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Must have good working knowledge of documentations, i.e. Grant Deeds, Trust Deeds, et and their effects against real property

· Must have ability to, research public records, compiling all information pertaining to the subject property, including general indices of current & prior owners

· Knowledge of the foreclosure/TSG terminology used in the industry
