    Commercial Truck Equipment Sales Representative - Custom Manufacturing - Base Salary to 75k/year - Phoenix, AZ

    • Our client, a well-established family-owned Custom Truck Manufacturer, is currently seeking a Commercial Truck Equipment Sales Representative onsite at their Phoenix, AZ location.
    • Our client is seeking candidates who possess a background in heavy mechanical equipment experience (commercial truck), with some knowledge of manufacturing, great interpersonal skills and computer proficiency to add to their sales department team of 4.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop new business with commercial clients and fleet accounts
    • Consult with customers on truck equipment needs & recommend solutions
    • Prepare and present customized quotes, bids, and proposals
    • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, service, and installation teams) to ensure timely delivery and upfitting
    • Maintain product and technical knowledge of truck bodies/ chassis, vocational vehicles, liftgates, cranes, toolboxes, hoists, Power Take-Off (PTO) systems, and other equipment including aftermarket parts
    • Attend trade shows and industry events to build network and stay current
    • Maintain CRM system records: leads, opportunities, and client interactions
    • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
    • 80% in-office preparing quotes and answering questions by phone / computer; 20% customer site visits (within a few hour driving distance)

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of relevant sales experience
      • Commercial truck preferred; heavy equipment, industrial/ manufacturing, construction knowledge helpful
    • Industry knowledge of heavy equipment like truck bodies/ chassis, vocational vehicles, liftgates, cranes, toolboxes, hoists, Power Take-Off (PTO) systems, and other equipment including aftermarket parts helpful
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Computer Proficiency - Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use CRM software

    Compensation:

    • Base salary to 75k/year plus commission (% of gross sales)
