At Haullane Manufacturing, we build, customize, and service heavy-duty commercial trucks used across logistics, hauling, and specialized industries. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Vehicle Painter to join our production team and ensure our trucks meet both functional and aesthetic standards.

Position Overview:

The Commercial Vehicle Painter is responsible for prepping, painting, and finishing truck bodies, frames, and rims. The ideal candidate has experience using paint guns, primers, sealers, and industrial coatings on large vehicles or equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare truck surfaces for painting (masking, sanding, cleaning, taping)

• Mix, match, and apply paints, primers, and finishes using spray equipment

• Apply base coat, top coat, and clear coat finishes

• Inspect completed paint jobs for quality, color match, and consistency

• Maintain a clean and safe paint booth and mixing area

• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and proper handling of chemicals

• Touch up paint on frames, rims, bumpers, and other truck components as needed

• Work with the assembly and body teams to meet production schedules

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience painting commercial vehicles, trucks, or industrial equipment

• Familiarity with HVLP spray guns and industrial painting tools

• Knowledge of surface prep, masking, and coating techniques

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• OSHA safety knowledge preferred
