Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ( Part time ) Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our litigation team. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload of business and commercial disputes, provide strategic legal counsel, and represent clients through all phases of litigation, including trial and alternative dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities

Handle commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda

Conduct legal research and case analysis

Manage discovery, depositions, and witness preparation

Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations

Develop litigation strategies and case plans

Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively

Maintain strong client communication and provide timely updates

Collaborate with partners and legal support staff

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active license to practice law in Florida.

3–8+ years of commercial litigation experience (preferred, adjustable)

Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

Trial or courtroom experience preferred

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently

Excellent negotiation and client management skills
