The Role: Commercial Roofing / Sheet Metal Foreman
Location: Little Rock, AR
Pay Range: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofing / Sheet Metal Foremen to lead installation crews on commercial new construction and reroofing projects. This role is responsible for supervising field operations, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining productivity, and installing a wide range of architectural sheet metal and wall panel systems.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running crews, strong technical knowledge of commercial sheet metal systems, and the ability to lead projects safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Crew Leadership & Jobsite ManagementLead and manage sheet metal installation crews on commercial projects
Assign daily tasks and ensure crews meet productivity and quality standards
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient jobsite
Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling and job progress
Train and mentor crew members as needed
Oversee and perform installation of commercial sheet metal systems including:
New construction and metal reroof projects
Single-skin wall panels
Soffit panels
Insulated Metal Panels (IMP)
Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels
Louvers and screen walls
Wood grain finish panels (Longboard or similar systems)
Specialty architectural wall panel systems
Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and project drawings
Review plans, details, and field conditions to resolve installation challenges
Maintain high-quality workmanship standards
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements
Monitor material usage and minimize waste
Ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing or Sheet Metal Foreman
Demonstrated experience running and supervising crews
Strong working knowledge of commercial sheet metal and wall panel systems
Experience with new construction and metal reroof projects
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and details
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
