Commissary Kitchen Manager: Brooklyn Bros. Pizzeria
Brooklyn Bros. Pizzeria is seeking a new Commissary Kitchen Manager. Our Commissary is located in downtown Everett and prepares product for both Brooklyn Bros. Pizzeria locations. The Commissary Kitchen Manager is responsible for collecting orders from the Store Management teams, preparing product to spec, and then working with the Delivery Manager to ensure the right product gets to the right location. The Commissary Manager is also responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, maintaining an inventory of goods, and managing a team of 2-3 people.
The Kitchen:
The Brooklyn Bros. Commissary was originally opened in 2020 to ensure consistency in dough and sauce for our four pizzerias. Over time, we added more prep and all of our produce from the stores to the commissary and, even after closing two pizzerias, found that the space still held a high level of value to the organization. The commissary is now a key aspect of our operations, ensuring quality and consistency, reducing waste, and enabling greater efficiency in both preparation and service.
The Position:
The Commissary Manager oversees daily operations of the Brooklyn Bros. Commissary, ensuring consistent preparation and delivery of food quality, financial performance, and crew engagement. Managers at Brooklyn Bros. are required to lead by example and by always using Positive Leadership techniques.
The Commissary Manager is a senior ambassador of Brooklyn Bros. culture, familiar with all details of Brooklyn Bros. Pizzeria’s culture, history, polices, and procedures with an eye for efficiency, cleanliness, and process improvement.
The Commissary Manager is responsible for coaching and engaging crew members to consistently meet or exceed Brooklyn Bros. standards for high quality and consistent production of dough, sauce, produce, and dressings. The Commissary Manager should always be looking for ways to make the Commissary a more efficient and productive space, as well as keeping regular communication with the Management and Operations teams.
