  • Responsibilities

    The Commission on the Future of Mobility looking for a strategic thinker and researcher to support the North American based CFM policy team. You'll work collaboratively with the Asian and European policy teams to support the development and execution of CFM's policy and research roadmap. You'll conduct rigorous transportation policy research, compose studies, and develop policy recommendations applicable across North America, Europe, and Asia. You should be passionate about and have experience in transportation policy research and advocacy. You should be excited about working in a fast-paced research and advocacy environment, ready to be nimble and change directions at any given time. You'll report to the Transportation Policy and Strategy Associate, North America.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Conduct in-depth policy research and analysis to support and develop cross-sector policy proposals and solutions. 
    • Collaborate with academic and consulting project partners. 
    • Develop policy recommendations and solutions for critical global mobility challenges. 
    • Compose a range of written materials, for advocacy and information, along with research and analysis.

     

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS 

    • Current students or recent graduates, preferably at the Master's or PhD level, studying Public Policy, Urban Planning, Economics, Political Science, Engineering, Business, or other relevant discipline required. 
    • Experience conducting research and policy analysis.  
    • Strong enthusiasm for the future of mobility.

      

    STIPEND 

    $2,500 monthly stipend
