Commissions Analyst
Position Summary
Responsible for analyzing, reconciling, and verifying commission-related transactions and statements. Ensures accurate postings, resolves discrepancies, and maintains organized records in a fast-paced accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review and compare commission statements with system postings; identify and correct discrepancies.
Reconcile daily and monthly commission totals and confirm all bank payments are properly recorded.
Track and verify payments, ensuring all related statements are received.
Maintain detailed records and manage data in tools such as Excel, SharePoint, and QuickBooks.
Prepare reports on commission activities, document processes, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
2–3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or commission/financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint and QuickBooks preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred
Experience in the travel industry or with commission-based compensation.
Additional accounting software knowledge or certifications (CPA, CFA).
