    Committee for Children is growing, and we're looking for an experienced CLIENT DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE to join our team! The Client Development Representative (CDR) will focus on initiating contacts and new business opportunities with potential schools and districts interested in social-emotional learning programs.  They will assume responsibility for developing qualified leads from marketing campaigns, conferences, webinars, databases, market research and other sources through calls and emails to contribute to new client engagement and relationships in their assigned region. They will cultivate potential relationships by identifying the needs and timing around social emotional learning interest, providing supporting information on our programs and pricing, and creating a warm handoff of qualified opportunities to appropriate sales managers. The CDR will give presentations and webinars on our programs, answer in-depth questions, and provide preliminary pricing and quotes. They will also work with sales managers to develop new prospecting strategies and marketing campaigns to help further business initiatives in targeted markets and program areas.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

    LEAD GENERATION AND PROSPECTING

    • Initiates contact with potential customers through outbound calls and emails and follows up on inbound leads and inquiries generated by marketing campaigns and events
    • Develops an effective pipeline of new prospects and potential customers and tracks relevant activities and communications in the CRM
    • Qualifies new leads and prospects by providing supporting program information, pricing, and presentations to potential customers in schools, districts, and agencies regarding effective practices with CFC programs and services
    • Identifies new prospect opportunities and transitions qualified opportunities to appropriate sales managers for further consultation and development
    • Meets with sales managers regularly to insure warm leads and opportunities are being followed through on and to ensure collaboration between efforts 
    • Communicates prospect information, requests, and feedback to appropriate stakeholders and other departments as necessary
    • Provides input and analysis on target areas for lead prospecting, using CRM data, reports and research around past purchases, product adoption, market trends, and funding opportunities

    PROGRAM KNOWLEDGE AND MARKET

    • Develops and displays demonstrated knowledge of CFC product offerings, market trends, and competitor insight
    • Provides timely and accurate, verbal and written follow-through on requests for additional information, materials and services
    • Acts as an advisor with school and district contacts for application and implementation of our programs in educational and community settings
    • Attends and participates in national and regional conferences and events to support market presence, develop prospect and lead opportunities, and enhance the awareness of CFC's programs and services

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum of two years of professional experience, business development or fundraising preferred
    • Strong computer skills in MS Office and strong CRM proficiency (NetSuite or SalesForce)
    • Must be able to commute to Seattle
    • 10% travel
    • Strong customer focus, collaboration and team-building skills
    • Expert listener, communicator and relationship builder
    • Presentation and group speaking skills
