Responsibilities: Sales Representative Responsibilities for a Wedding Venue: Client Engagement: • Initial contact with prospective clients through email, phone calls, or walk-ins. • Understand the clients' requirements, including desired dates, guest count, and specific needs for their event. • Provide detailed information about the venue, its features, available dates, and pricing. Venue Tours: • Schedule and conduct guided tours of the venue, showcasing key features, facilities, and customization options. • Highlight aspects of the venue that align with the clients' vision or requirements. • Discuss potential setups, decoration ideas, and any preferred vendors or partners. Follow-Up: • Send thank you emails or notes post-tour, expressing gratitude for their interest. • Provide further information or answer any questions that may have arisen post-tour. • Offer special deals or promotions, if applicable, as an incentive to book. • Regularly follow up with clients who haven't made a decision, keeping the venue top-of-mind. Booking Process: • Walk the client through the contract and booking process. • Discuss payment plans, deposit requirements, and cancellation policies. • Coordinate with the events or operations team to ensure the date is reserved once the booking is confirmed. Collaboration with Marketing and Events Team: • Provide feedback from tours to the events team to ensure venue presentations meet potential clients' needs. • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials or promotions that attract more clients. • Attend industry events or wedding expos to promote the venue and network with potential clients. Database Management: • Maintain a database of all interactions, including tour dates, client details, feedback, and follow-up actions. • Regularly update the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system with the status of potential bookings. Feedback and Continuous Learning: • After events, gather feedback from clients to understand areas of improvement or aspects that were highly appreciated. • Regularly attend trainings or workshops to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales. Achieving Sales Targets: • Regularly review performance metrics to ensure quotas and sales targets are being met. • Develop strategies to attract more clients during off-peak seasons or times. Qualifications: You must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle Must have excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills Experience using a CRM is preferred • Ideally applicant have some sales experience and ideally wedding and event experience Compensation: $20 hourly + commission + bonuses
