    Are you a driven and resourceful sales professional who welcomes the challenge of the ground floor and new products? If working with a small collaborative team on a mission to bring a great new SaaS product to life excites you, then we need to talk.

    Our long-established technology company has formed a new group with a simple mandate to bring unique software solutions to market for the industry we serve. As a core member of this group, you will work with a small entrepreneurial team of technology leaders to deliver new software products to a group of users. You will be given deep industry access and the freedom to envision and deliver solutions to problems for our customers.

    This person will be responsible for maximizing and generating new business through face-to-face and remote selling practices. As a member of the executive team reporting to the President, you will work closely with other departmental leaders to meet established company goals. You must be able to work cross-functionally, independently and in a fast paced environment.

    Success in this position requires the ability to successfully hunt new sales opportunities, create and deliver proposals, and close new deals. This position requires building relationships with VP and C-Level executives, conducting discovery, providing insight and solutions, and proposing deliverables.

    Objectives and Responsibilities

    • Follow up on marketing generated leads
    • Generate new prospects via phone, email, social media, referral relationship development with consultants and other referral sources
    • Strategically target a select list of prospects to continually build awareness of our products & services
    • Effectively manage a sales pipeline to achieve sales targets and forecasts
    • Collaboratively work with the management team to develop deal strategy and positioning
    • Master product pricing to produce proposals and quotes. Prepare compelling and professional proposals to be delivered to prospective clients
    • Negotiate and close simple, fast-moving deals as well as slow, complex ones
    • Actively use our CRM system to produce reports on sales activities and updates on key deals and forecast, and document activities with prospects
    • Attend networking and association events to find new business connections
    • Use social media as an effective tool for networking and finding new business

    Required Skills:

    • 2-5 years sales experience, preferably selling SaaS software
    • Demonstrated sales proficiency to qualify and close new accounts with a proven record of sales achievement, including successful lead generation, new business generation and quota attainment
    • Ability to consistently work within a sales process
    • Ability to conduct in-depth needs discovery
    • Conversant in technology related business issues
    • Highly skilled in telephone sales and relationship building
    • Ability to overcome objections and adequately answer customer’s questions and concerns
    • Comfortable calling on CFO's, presidents, and owners of small companies
    • Prioritization of plans and work activities, using time efficiently
    • Strong organizational skills with Microsoft Office, CRM and time management
    • Naturally competitive, high desire to win
    • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
    • Customer caring attitude
