Rotating Equipment Technician

The company seeks an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician to grow with our company. Largest rotating equipment and repair facilities in the Northeast. Our highly skilled technicians typically work on engineered industrial equipment that keeps America’s infrastructure running.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge and ability to disassemble, inspect, and assemble engineered industrial equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, fans, blowers, loading arms, etc.

Diagnose issue(s) with equipment and identify a corrective action plan to rebuild and/or improve the equipment.

Work with engineering and machinists to specify in-house manufactured or rebuilt components.

Adaptability to perform all tasks without the benefit of a maintenance manual.

Thoroughness to document disassembly procedure, thus ensuring proper reassembly of equipment.

Safely maneuver heavy equipment utilizing hoists, forklift, etc.

Required:

HS diploma or GED minimum. Ideally have trade school or advanced technical certification.

5+ years of experience as a rotating equipment Technician in an industrial equipment setting.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/documents.

Strong attention to detail.

Works independently and consistently meets deadlines.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Follows established production procedures and contribute towards productivity improvements.

Dedication to the art of repairing engineered rotating equipment and consistently achieving the right solution.
