CNC Milling / Lathe Operator

Hours: 1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm About the job: Challenging and exciting opportunity with a manufacturing company has a CNC Lathe Set Up Operator job available. Need a highly motivated, self-directed individual who will set up and operate the company’s CNC Lathes and 5-axis machining centers. Must be able to read blueprints and capable of doing first article inspection. You will be required to run multiple machines each day. When operating you will be required to assemble and preset tooling for subsequent operations during automated cycles to reduce machine downtime. Experience machining stainless steel and aluminum is required. Practical knowledge of math, geometry required.

Required:

HS Diploma

Equivalent to complete, accredited, indentured apprenticeship or equivalent to high school plus a 2-year technical school.

Must be able to read blueprints and capable of doing first article inspection.

Must have 2 years of manufacturing experience on CNC machinery. (prefered multi-axis ).

Use of measuring instruments.

Blueprint reading of complicated drawings, specifications, and charts/tables.

More than two years of experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment.

Dependable and a great attitude.
