Client is a 85 year old company with a proven and reliable history in the packaging industry. We are looking for Service/Installation technicians for packaging machinery. Must be mechanically inclined. Must have some experience with PLC based controls- Allen-Bradley. Major responsibilities consist of on-site inspections, machinery installation, startup, troubleshooting, and customer training in the field and documenting service trip reports. Successful candidates will have the following: -3-5 years of field experience strongly preferred -PLC conversant required -Ability to read schematics & blueprints along with mechanical, pneumatic & electronic diagnostic capability required. -High degree of customer focus -Must be able to understand and support sales efforts is essential! -Excellent organizational, prioritizing & problem solving skills -Superb time management, detail-oriented & follow up skills a must! -Ability to relate well with all levels of a plant maintenance team -Self directed -Flexibility for some occasional overnight travel & training opportunities
