  • Responsibilities

    The Cleanroom Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling products operating inside a cleanroom environment, which is a controlled environment with a low level of pollutants such as dust, airborne microbes, aerosol particles, and chemical vapors. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of the cleanroom environment and the quality of products assembled within it.

    Summary

    Adheres to strict cleanliness protocols to ensure the cleanroom environment remains free from contaminants.

    Complies with proper gowning procedures and required attire when working inside the clean room, including gown/coverall, shoe covers, hairnet, gloves, face mask, beard guard, etc.

    Cleans work surfaces and equipment using alcohol and bleach.

    Prepares and assembles various single use assemblies for the pharmaceutical industry.

    Performs all duties in accordance with specific Work Orders using proper equipment, material usage, packaging, etc.

    Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. Gather and analyze information skillfully. Develop and/or recommend alternative solutions.

    Reads and interprets product drawings.

    Adheres to standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and safety protocols maintaining compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

    Inspects product by means of visual examination, testing, verify measurements and documenting results.

    Completes batch record, inspection and testing forms and verifies work order.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Education

    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in relevant fields (e.g., biology, chemistry, engineering) is a plus.

    Required Experience & Competencies

    Prior experience working in a clean-room environment is preferred.

    Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

    Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and listening.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

    Seeks ways to improve and promote quality.
