CMM Programmer

Manufacturing company in northern New Jersey is seeking a Quality Inspector who can program CMM Machines on the production floor. We seek an individual who has a strong work ethic and wants to excel in a fast-faced work environment. We need to hire immediately!

Primary responsibilities:

Program the CMM machines and other automated measurement equipment, in effort to perform automated inspections of fabricated parts based on product drawings and specifications.

Complete model-centric programming (in PC-DMIS & Calypso software) – operating Hexagon and Zeiss equipment to ensure product produced meet quality and dimensional requirements.

Setup and performs automated inspections of fabricated parts and tooling, using a coordinate measurement machine (CMM).

Required:

HS diploma. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

5+ years of manufacturing experience. Preferably medical device manufacturing.

Must have CMM programming experience.

Familiar with Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Strong understanding of blueprints and specifications. Knowledge of sampling and inspection plans.

Fluent in GD&T interpretations and applications.
