Location: Middlesex, NJ

Responsibilities: This position reports to the Shop Foreman and General Manager. S/he will be able to take direction from the quality assurance personnel within the paint department to process the necessary coatings. S/he should be quality minded, motivated to meet goals and deadlines. This position requires an energetic person to keep up with production demands.

Required:

HS diploma. Ideally someone with trade school or apprenticeship experience.

3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing setting to prepare items that are manufactured for the final coat application.

3+ years of surface preparation experience for coating by glass media blast, sanding, chemical wipe, wire brush or any other means necessary.

3+ years apply coating preparation and apply primers, base coats and sealers within required specs and mil thickness.

3+ years of experience using spray paint equipment. Also experience working with a paint booth, sandblasting booth and a UV Oven to bake the panels.

Must have good problem-solving skills, be dependable and punctual, able to communicate and work well with others.

Must be able to properly mix multi-component systems per manufacturers specifications.

Clean equipment and maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Accurately monitor and record environmental, material usage and time.

Provide necessary assistance with other projects as needed.
