Job Purpose :
The Product / Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the management of both internal and external projects. This includes but is not limited to assisting with customer interfacing, quotations, execution of project deliverables, and project tracking.
Duties and Responsibilities
with both internal staff and external customers to aid in the tracking and execution of project deliverables.
Have a working understanding of the technical aspects of projects to provide well informed guidance.
Assist in the design, building, installation, qualification, and verification of manufacturing equipment.
Build partnering relationships with customers. Actively listen, probe, and identify concerns. Understand the customer's business and speak their language. Develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment.
Solicit support from and communicate effectively with internal staff to ensure project success. Develop relationships with all to deliver quality results.
Attend customer and vendor meetings in person or conference call and advise on technical aspects of projects.
Some travel is required. (<10%)

Candidate requires the organizational and collaborative skills to oversee project deliverables and meet project deadlines
Demonstrates ability to self-motivate and to problem solve in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to present on complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Communication skills - must have good listening skills in addition to excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Project Management Tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, etc.), and Teleconference Tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related area
Experience/knowledge of 3D CAD a plus
