    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Communications Assistant to support our communications team in executing internal and external communication strategies. The ideal candidate will assist with content creation, social media management, media outreach, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth and effective communication within the organization and with the public.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Draft, edit, and proofread press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and other content.

    • Monitor media coverage and prepare daily or weekly media reports.

    • Coordinate and maintain the organization’s media contact lists and databases.

    • Support the planning and execution of communication campaigns and events.

    • Assist with the design and distribution of promotional materials.

    • Respond to public and media inquiries as needed, in coordination with the communications team.

    • Track performance of communication initiatives using analytics tools.

    • Perform general administrative duties, including scheduling, filing, and note-taking.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Basic knowledge of graphic design and editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.

    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
