    Communications Business Analyst

    Job Responsibilities:

    Develops and executes proactive and strategic communication initiatives in partnership with teams across ITS.

    Understands the unique needs of our department’s (goals, services, tools, process) to produce effective and relevant communication strategies.

    Help with the creation and enhancements of ITS branding initiatives.

    Partners with Human Resources, Marketing, Communications dept and ITS Leadership on their communication and change management strategies.

    Builds the ITS communication strategy around new and existing communication channels.

    Creates and develops messaging on various topics, including company strategy, priorities, and announcements.

    Provides proactive and reactive messaging that supports key initiatives and program rollouts.

    Coordinates with cross-functional teams to implement consistent communications across ITS.

    Partners closely with other internal and external communications teams to align on communication opportunities.

    Plans and executes ITS-wide communication events to include ad-hoc meetings and all hands meetings.

    Create content to populate the CITO Dashboard with current and relevant information.

    Supports designs and develops content for the ITS Intranet and collaboration sites.

    Provide project management support for special initiative as directed by the Center of Excellence Department.

    Maintain an active presence as the ITS lead for both internal and external communications need.

    Partner with ITS leads to ensure timeliness of response to special inquiries from ITS.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    5+ years of experience in creating and executing communications and marketing strategies, with an emphasis on IT.

    Extensive familiarity with different communications channels, including but not limited to, direct, mobile, electronic, written, personal, etc.

    Direct, hands-on experience with Communications Management Platforms such as SharePoint, Intranets, PowerPoint, and Adobe.

    Strong branding experience for an ITS department.

    Very strong understanding of contemporary methodologies for communications tracking, aggregation, and analysis.

    Exceptional project management skills and substantial exposure to project- based work structures.

    Proven capabilities for conducting business requirements analysis.

    Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
