Communications Coordinator/Associate, Public Affairs

We are looking to hire a results-driven Communications Coordinator to join our Public Affairs & Communications team.
Success Academy’s Public Affairs & Communications team works to develop and deliver engaging internal and external communications and effective public relations. We work to advance K-12 public education reform and student achievement nationally by deploying high-quality content across multiple media platforms and channels. This team develops best-in-class communications to ensure internal and external audiences are well informed on relevant academic and education reform issues as well as the exceptional achievements and joyful celebrations of Success Academy scholars and educators.
Reporting to the Editorial Content Manager , the Communications Coordinator will have a proven track record managing email campaigns in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; will be responsible for all aspects of planning, execution, workflow, and calendar management of email campaigns; will assist in maintenance and building of new pages for our Intranet. Key responsibilities include:
Manage schedule of communications using Monday.com
Build, optimize, and track email data and postings
Prepare and maintain segmented email lists
Collect, analyze, and report on key metrics
Execute on A/B and multivariate test strategies, including subject lines and templates, to increase engagement
Assist in training staff on platforms and enhancements
A successful applicant will have the following experiences and characteristics:
2 years’ experience in email marketing/management platforms like Parent Square, Braze, MailChimp, Constant Contact or EMMA
Proficiency in Google suite and complex list management and segmentation
Quick learner, especially of different communications platforms
Flexibility to sometimes work evenings/weekends for urgent matters
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business demands
Basic design skills in Adobe and/or Canva recommended
Knowledge or experience of Salesforce a plus
Good sense of humor a must

Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $58,500.00 - $60,000.00
