ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
Figure Skating in Harlem (FSH) is a pioneering nonprofit that combines education and the discipline of figure skating to empower girls ages 6–18 from underserved communities. This year, we were the feature of a Disney+ docuseries (called Harlem Ice), announced in the New York Times plans to build a home of our own in Harlem, and earned the Sports Business Journal Celebration of Service award. It’s an exciting time to become a part of our team!
Our mission is to help girls grow in confidence, leadership, and academic achievement through afterschool and summer programs that support intellectual, emotional, and physical development. Since its founding over 29 years ago, FSH has reached over 1,500 girls, creating lasting impact through academic support, health and wellness initiatives, and leadership development.
