    United Way of Northwest Florida is seeking a motivated and creative Communications and Community Engagement Intern to support our mission driven work across youth opportunity, financial stability, healthy communities, and community resiliency. This part time internship offers hands on experience in nonprofit communications, digital content creation, storytelling, and community engagement. The intern will assist with social media, website updates, event support, partner outreach, and impact storytelling while gaining valuable professional experience in a collaborative and purpose driven environment.

    In this role, the intern will help plan and execute communications strategies, create content for multiple platforms, support fundraising campaigns and community events, and gather stories and data that demonstrate impact. The position provides meaningful exposure to nonprofit marketing, brand management, community relationship building, digital engagement, and performance tracking. Interns will strengthen their professional writing and storytelling skills, gain insight into how data supports mission driven work, and develop practical experience contributing to real world initiatives that positively impact Northwest Florida.
