    Communities Unlimited, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization searching for skilled individuals ready to virtually "work alongside" small business owners during these challenging times - facilitating access to resources, building financial and managerial capacity, serving as a guide through the maze of government programs and opportunities to access capital. Current global conditions are creating additional challenges in places where access to traditional resources is limited, poverty has persisted for decades and hard-working entrepreneurs want someone to work alongside them to strengthen their business management skills or facilitate the launch of a start-up.

    Management Consultants provide direct one-on-one managerial assistance to small businesses both on-site (during non-COVID-19 times) and virtually using a variety of video conferencing and cloud-based technology. Successful consultants possess strong financial and management skills, thrive in a team environment, are passionate about service to entrepreneurs with a commitment to empowering their success to the point that CU's services are no longer needed. CU's mission is to serve entrepreneurs constrained by limited credit history, limited access to financial/managerial training or education, and/or lack of access to traditional financing options.

    A Master’s degree is required, with a strong preference for a MBA or Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship.

    A minimum of 3 years of related work experience is required.

    Business ownership experience is preferred.

    Entry level salary for a professional that meets the qualifications is $50,000 fixed and firm. On average the the value of the full benefits package is equal to %25 of salary and may include: employer paid portion of health & dental insurance; long-term disability (100% employer paid); holiday/sick/vacation leave - with all new hires starting with 2 weeks of paid vacation; 401k employer match; and, others.
