    About Agape’s Way

    Agape’s Way provides residential care and supportive services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We focus on promoting independence, dignity, and meaningful community connections through compassionate and high-quality care.

    Position Summary

    The Community Ambassador will be the outward-facing representative of Agape’s Way in the local area. This role is responsible for building relationships with families, referral partners, healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to increase awareness of our services, support growth in client base, and assist with recruitment of caregiving and nursing staff.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Represent Agape’s Way at community events, health fairs, and networking functions

    • Build and maintain partnership relationships with referral sources (healthcare providers, churches, schools, agencies)

    • Collaborate with HR/recruitment to promote caregiver and nursing roles in the community

    • Distribute outreach and marketing materials (flyers, brochures, social media content)

    • Track and maintain records of outreach activities, leads, and community engagements

    • Provide feedback and insights from the community to leadership to refine strategy

    • Assist with promotional campaigns or communications aligned with Agape’s Way mission

    Qualifications

    Associate’s degree required in Human Services, Communications, Healthcare, Social Work, or related field

    Bachelor’s degree preferred

    • Previous experience in community outreach, liaison, social services, or healthcare settings

    • Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills

    • Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and travel locally

    • Familiarity with local community resources and referral networks a plus

    •Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
