    Community Association Management is a premier Association Management company serving HOAs, POAs, Condo Associations, Townhome Associations and others throughout North and South Carolina.  We need a Corporate Documentation Specialist to join our team.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Corporate Documentation Specialist is a hands-on, individual contributor role responsible for documenting, revising, and publishing content and learning files and performance support material in our BACK OFFICE Content Management application.   Tasks include identifying, developing, and documenting business processes, practices, and procedures across the enterprise on an on-going consistent basis.

    POSITION OBJECTIVES

    Ensure the company’s Learning & Content Management System is comprehensive and complete with all policy, procedures, and performance support information necessary to drive performance across the organization.  This includes development, validation, and deployment. 

    Engage at all levels of the organization developing strong cross-functional partnerships while implementing project deliverables.   This includes heavy job shadowing in a live side-by-side setting on a routine basis in order to create and/or update documentation of business processes.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    ·        Revise and deploy training materials in the company’s Learning and Content Management System.

    ·        Conduct side-by-side sessions with employees in all departments to capture procedures and develop content for training and reference materials. This practice will occur on a routine basis in order to maintain and upkeep content.

    ·        Establish a project plan that supports the identification, documentation, and update process for new and existing content on-going basis.  

    ·        Communicate changes to impacted business units.

    ·        Provide guidance in best practices and methodology to sustain performance in newly deployed practices, processes, and procedures. 

    ·        Work with business unit leaders to drive permanent change in culture to ensure continuous improvement in cost, quality, service, people and working capital

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    ·        Ability to gain exposure to simple and complex tasks within the business and industry.

    ·        Ability to work independently with little supervision or oversight with occasional directives in several aspects of the work.

    ·        Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken)

    ·        Self-Driven with exceptional critical thinking skills. Must have capacity to make decisions in the midst ambiguity and abstract ideas.

    ·        Ability to receive large amounts of information and convert into manageable learning chunks for training delivery without losing content/process objectives.

    ·        Bachelor’s degree in  with 2 years’ experience in developing technical procedure guides and training performance support material/content, or Associate’s degree with 3 years’ experience, or a combination of education and direct experience in similar role.
