Responsibilities: • Identify, diagnose, service, and repair vehicles. • Basic parts replacement: starters, alternators, batteries, cables, spark plugs, filters, water pumps, valve cover gaskets, Brake pads/rotors and shoes/drums replacement, oil changes, transmission service, and various fluid services. • Basic knowledge and use of scan tools and other diagnostic equipment like the smoke test, multi-meter, a/c recharge, alignment rack, etc. Qualifications: • Valid Michigan Driver’s License, a clean record for insurability purposes. • Able to lift 70 lbs. and buddy lift beyond that. • Able to effectively diagnose and repair vehicles based on certification and experience. • State of Michigan Mechanic Certification. • Preferable ASE Master Certified Mechanic. • 2-3 years of experience. Compensation: $47,500 - $67,500 yearly
