    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    The Warranty claims administrator is responsible for the processing of warranty claims in a timely and thorough manner while maintaining a professional partnership with the Manufacturer.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Daily processing and payment submittal of warranty claims

    Utilize proprietary CARS application to assist in resolution of every dealer compliance issue

    Booking claims

    Closing claims

    Accounting and clearing differences in payment

    Maintain and reconcile warranty receivable schedules

    Maintain current Manufacturer certifications as required

    Ensure dealership operating compliancy with Manufacturer warranty policies

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS:

    The ability to motivate others to achieve their highest potential particularly those within the dealership

    Good working knowledge of CDK software

    Knowledge of automotive dealership service departments

    Knowledge of accounting debits and credits

    Proficient at reading technician stories and applying appropriate labor codes

    Certified or trained in CJDR manufacturing or at least 1 year of CJDR experience preferred
