    The Financial Reporting Associate will be committed to Bryan’s vision and its mission. The Financial Reporting Associate is responsible for assisting with the financial close. Ensuring that account reconciliations are done timely and accurately. Assisting with daily tasks as needed. Responding to student questions and concerns related to their account.

    GENERAL DUTIES:

    • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for period end close
    • Manage the release of daily transactions from student information software to our ERP system
    • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
    • Maintain necessary working papers related to journal entries and account reconciliations
    • Assist with the preparation of the annual financial statement audit
    • Maintaining deferred revenue calculations
    • Analyze accounts receivable aging and reconciliations
    • Maintain and reconcile fixed assets
    • Maintain and reconcile prepaid schedules
    • Oversee payroll process for our subsidiary entities
    • Quarterly Inventory Count
    • Responsible for posting payments accurately and timely
    • Reconciling financial aid payments and refunds
    • Prepare monthly financial statements
    • Contribute to special projects as needed

     

    Required Skills

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 1 to 3 years of accounting experience
    • Hands-on individual with strong teamwork orientation
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or other finance related area
    • Strong command of the English language
    • Strong communication and writing skills
    • Strong Excel Skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, advanced formulas)
    • Strong presentation and organizational skills
    • Strong experience in using databases (i.e. CRMs, Financial databases, etc.) 
    • Previous experience general ledger applications (MS Great Plains preferred)
    • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
