    Description:

    A Behavior Technician provides 1:1 behavioral intervention services to children with special needs and support to their families. Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) based programs as directed the Board Certified Behavior Analyst/Case Supervisor.

    Responsible for implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans developed through working directly with clients in a one on one or group setting, collect and record data, create and maintain materials, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Must be good with children with special needs.

    Duties:

    1. Completes a BACB or QABA approved RBT/ABAT course and keeps registration to the BACBor QABA current.

    2. Assists the BCBA/ABA Supervisor in implementing behavioral programming in a 1:1 setting.

    3. Collects data on all programming and writes progress notes.

    4. Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel.

    5. With the BCBA/ABA Supervisor, instructs patients and family/significant others in-home programs and protocols.

    6. Maintains current CPR certification

    7. Currently an RBT or a commitment to become certified as a Registered Behavior Technician or Applied Behaviora Analysis Technician.

    8. BLS/ CPR Certification or willingness to achieve.

    9. Reliable transportation and insurance.

    10. Willingness to travel to and from clients' homes.

    11. Strong computer and technology skills and reliable internet connection for data input.

    12. Availability for part-time assignments between the hours of 3:00-7:00 p.m.

    13. Pass a criminal and driving background check

    14. Strong written and oral communication skills, if interested, apply by submitting a cover letter, resume and hourly rate requirements

    Preferred education:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
