Health and Safety Advocate (entry level)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Health and Safety Advocate will have high energy and is a hard worker. They will be someone who is compassionate and empathetic. It is also important that this person has a positive attitude and a willingness to jump in and get the job done.

THIS POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AND DO THE FOLLOWING:

• Performs mandatory temperature checks for everyone entering the facility.
• Conducts proper screenings of persons upon entry to the facility.
• Distribute face masks.
• Consistently cleaning and disinfecting assigned work spaces/areas.
• Continually observes for safety hazards and persons needing assistance.
• Acts upon inquiries if within the scope of their authority or routes it to the proper authority.
• Controls, regulates and directs pedestrian traffic.
• Provide excellent customer service to our patients and guests.
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations.
• Ability to read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce all procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPR Certified
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards.
• Minimum 1 Year of Previous Experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests and co-workers.
• Ability to adhere to and lead through safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to use good judgement and to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication
• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
