Job description:

As an IP Specialist, you will carry out the services of Individual Placement and support by assisting the consumers obtain and maintain employment in the community that consist with their vocational goals.

Individuals must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactory. The following are the necessary duties to be performed:

• Assist Consumers work at regular jobs of their choosing.
• Conducts job development and job search activities directed toward positions that are individualized.
• Conducts a minimum of six new employer/clients contacts per week.
• Tracks all employer contacts and reports outcome and status to the Management Team.
• Develops an Individual employment plan and writes a job support plan with the Consumer.
• Participates in meetings with Department of Rehabilitation Counselor and/or Inland Regional Center.
• Communicates with Accounting office and provides documentation for funding and accurate billing.
• Keeps up to date Employment policies and procedures.

** Qualifications**

• 3 years of experience working with Individual Placement Consumers/ Associate degree in Social services, or Business
• Strong background in workforce development and social work
• Knowledge of employment and labor laws
• Sales Experience, preferred
• Cold calls
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism

Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm
