    Job Title: Developmental Support Coach

    Location: Lancaster

    Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

    Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible person that is willing to understand the science of human relationships and motivation. In order to succeed this person must be able to balance structure and nurture and look beyond behavior. This person must be able to see the positive intentions of his or her clients. This role involves supporting regulation, creating connections, and teaching skills to young adults with complex needs.

    Key Responsibilities: • Participate in therapeutic sessions including occupational and speech therapy, music therapy, fitness coaching, and equine therapy. • Collaborate as a vital member of the care team in developing strategies and goals • Implement strategies developed by the care team to reach goals. These strategies will be implemented across home and community settings. • Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). • Follow established seizure protocols to ensure safety.

    Qualifications: • Passion for music, art, equine therapy, and/or fitness, with a willingness to encourage participation in related activities. • Able to self regulate own stress response during challenges. • Expectation of own personal growth and development along with clients • Enthusiastic about developing relationships and exploring and discovering interests and passions. • Desire and ability to be physically active.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or complex needs.

    Requirements:

    Must be at least 18 years old.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Background check required.

    Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
