We are looking for a Nutrition Educator to assist in the delivery of a grant funded nutrition education at multiple sites in Atlantic County. The ideal candidate will be someone who can effectively plan and present lessons on nutrition and health promotion to a wide variety of target audiences in low-income communities. You must be at ease with public speaking and be comfortable working with youth and adults in limited resource communities. 

Qualified candidates will have Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science/Dietetics. Bi-lingual language skills (English and Spanish/Creole) is preferred and prior experience providing nutrition education is a plus. This position will have a varied work schedule that includes nights and weekends to meet the scheduling needs of partnering organizations and schools. Candidate must have a car as travel to various sites is required along with the capability to carry bulk materials as necessary; up to about 40 lbs. Technical aptitude (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is essential for success, along with a positive, can-do attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high degree of self-motivation.
