    Job Description

    Community Healthcare Network (CHN) is committed to improving the sexual health of its adolescent communities through sex education and access to quality reproductive healthcare through a reproductive justice lens. Our Teens PACT program centers adolescents’ health and safety, seeks to prevent unintended pregnancies, and advance the right and ability of individuals and families to make decisions that reflect their own values. Reporting to the Teens PACT manger, this position works strategically to create digital tools to promote its goals around sexual and reproductive health and health education through digital campaigns. This person will be responsible for the design and management of campaign plans and digital materials that meet the diversity, equity and inclusion needs of CHN communities. They will create health and brand campaigns throughout the year, ranging from campaigns about consent, relationships, LGBTQ health, sex education and more The overarching objectives of the campaign is to engage our existing base of patients and supporters to access family planning services and to reach new patients and supporters. 

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Develop, manage, and execute various digital strategies targeting adolescent sexual health and education campaigns on social media, mobile apps and other platforms as identified.
    2. Coordinate and support staff and peer leaders in the delivery and promotion of  online educational videos and programs.
    3. Work with various stakeholders and teams including our Health Education Department, Women’s Health and Medical Leadership, ID/LGBT and Marketing teams to develop strategies and digital tools to advance campaign goals and youth access to care.
    4. Manage content for the CHN (adolescent only) and Teens PACT websites and work collaboratively with CHN’s marketing team and website builder/consultant to ensure proper build and timely updates.
    5. Plan, coordinate and deliver an annual online youth summit for 300+ participants, including but not limited to selecting an appropriate platform, outreach to and inclusion of community partners, soliciting and coordinating educational sessions, soliciting and coordinating entertainment, creating meaningful spaces for youth expression, etc.
    6. Provide administrative and staff management support to Teens PACT manager as needed.
    7. Market CHN’s health education workshops to local schools and community-based organizations; implement other community outreach activities including coordinating and facilitating clinic tours and conducting presentations about CHN’s services.

    CERTIFICATE/LICENSE REQUIRED:

    • B.A. or B.S. in Community Health Education or Communications or related health discipline.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Experience developing and implementing online content and strategy for digital campaigns; non-profit advocacy organizations, or national health campaigns.
    • Experience developing digital campaign plans (long-term and short-term), that includes mobile campaign work.
    • Advanced knowledge of social media, email marketing, and production of digital materials (written, graphical and video).
    • Advanced knowledge of sexual and reproductive health issues.
    • Broad experience in managing social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
    • Ability to communicate easily and display a cordial manner toward individuals from a variety of socio-economic, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
    • Respect for the rights of individuals to make their own decisions about health care.
    • Knowledge of the ways that race, gender, sexuality and other identities intersect and play out in health care, especially with the communities we serve.
    • Believes that sexual and reproductive justice, racial equity, and social justice are important.
    • Bilingual preferred (Spanish or other language depending on health center location)
