    Community Impact Specialist

    The Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida is looking for a candidate that has a can-do-attitude, is tenacious, energetic, hardworking, innovative, resourceful, and creative to join its Community Impact Team.

    Essential Duties and Qualifications:

    Assist in planning and scheduling outreach projects, programs and events, and attending various events and activities, including Help Me Grow program activities and screening events.

    • Ensure all special program and grant program requirements are met according to the signed grant agreements.
    • Identifies and participates in opportunities to promote the purpose, mission, and services of the Coalition in the community, as required by the grant agreement(s).
    • Provide support to families who do not use traditional childcare to ensure they have the resources they need to support their child’s early learning.
    • Assist the Community Impact and Development Coordinator with content creation for newsletters, the coalition’s website and social media paying close attention to branding and grant requirements.
    • Assist with the design of outreach and awareness materials.
    • Develop relevant and compelling presentations tailored for specific audiences highlighting the importance of early childhood education and its impact on workforce development and community growth.
    • Support the Community Impact and Development Coordinator with changes on the Coalition’s website using WordPress.
    • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position

    Education and Experience

    Background Checks

    Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining satisfactory:

    Verification of Required Education and/or Credentials

    • Level II Background Check
    • Drug Screen
    • Valid Florida Driver License
    • Valid Automobile Insurance – if applicable
    • Access to Reliable Transportation – if applicable
    • E-Verify
    • High Speed Internet Access that can be maintained daily, with at least 50Mbps when working in a secure home location.

    Job offers are contingent upon any or all of the following:

    Job Type: Full-time

    Salary Range: $17-$22 hourly
