Support community integration and participation in recreational, educational, vocational, and social activities.

Teach daily living skills such as budgeting, meal preparation, hygiene, organization, shopping, and time management.

Encourage independence while respecting individual choice.

Transport individuals to approved community activities when appropriate.

Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.

Report incidents, concerns, or changes in condition promptly.

    Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Participate in required training and supervision.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Required

    High School Diploma or GED.

    Valid North Carolina Driver's License.

    Reliable transportation.

    Current automobile insurance.

Ability to pass criminal background screening.

Ability to work independently within the community.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Basic computer and smartphone skills.

    Preferred

Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Experience in behavioral health, direct support, human services, education, social work, or home and community-based services.

    CPR and First Aid Certification.
