Community Manager - San Antonio, Texas
Pay Range: $60,008.00 to $82,992.00
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to lead daily operations at a residential community in the San Antonio area. This role is ideal for someone who is a natural leader, enjoys building strong resident relationships, and thrives in a fast paced environment where they can take full ownership of a property’s performance. As the Community Manager, you will oversee financial operations, team leadership, resident satisfaction, and overall property success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the property’s annual budget
- Oversee rent collection, delinquency management, and expense control
- Prepare financial reports and ensure performance aligns with company goals
- Lead, train, and mentor the onsite team
- Oversee hiring, scheduling, performance management, and payroll
- Drive leasing efforts to achieve and maintain high occupancy
- Oversee marketing initiatives and manage the lease renewal process
- Build strong resident relationships and support a positive living environment
- Enforce community policies and support conflict resolution
- Plan and support community events and resident engagement activities
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure quality and curb appeal
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and manage vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and property management regulations
Qualifications Required
- 2-5 years of experience as a Property Manager, Community Manager, or similar leadership role
- Proven experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and resident relations
- Strong working knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Preferred
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or similar industry certification
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi
