    Position Summary:

    The Community Marketing Liaison is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community organizations, groups, senior organizations, and other referral sources to promote the facility and increase resident census. This individual will serve as a key representative of the facility in the community, ensuring positive visibility and awareness of the services offered by the long-term care center.

    Required Qualifications:

    ⦁ Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

    ⦁ Experience: Minimum of 2 years of marketing, admissions, or public relations experience in healthcare, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing

    ⦁ Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of local healthcare market and referral patterns. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

    ⦁ Additional Certifications: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular community travel.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    ⦁ Establish and maintain relationships with community organizations, community groups, professional groups, senior centers, senior based organizations, Assisted Living Communities, and other referral sources as identified.

    ⦁ Increase awareness of the facility’s services and programs through in-person visits, presentations, and participation in community events.

    ⦁ Develop and implement marketing strategies to meet or exceed census goals.

    ⦁ Coordinate tours and introductions for potential residents and families.

    ⦁ Collaborate with the admissions and clinical teams to ensure smooth admissions and transitions.

    ⦁ Maintain detailed referral tracking and follow-up logs.

    ⦁ Identify new referral opportunities and provide feedback to leadership on market trends and competition.

    ⦁ Represent the facility at community events, health fairs, and networking functions.

    ⦁ Create and distribute marketing materials in compliance with branding and regulatory guidelines.

    ⦁ Monitor satisfaction of referral sources and residents’ post-admission to ensure quality service and maintain strong relationships.

    ⦁ Prepare regular reports on referral activity, trends, and outcomes.

    ⦁ Other duties as assigned by Administrator or Regional Director of Business Development.

    Work Environment:

    ⦁ Primarily field-based with travel to hospitals, clinics, and community events.

    ⦁ May require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on community events and referral needs.
