    We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Community Outreach Assistant to support community engagement initiatives, promotional events, and public awareness campaigns. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience working directly with community members, supporting outreach efforts, strengthening public relationships, and increasing awareness of organizational programs and services. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and representing an organization in community settings.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in community outreach activities and public engagement initiatives.
    • Represent the organization at community events, informational sessions, and outreach campaigns.
    • Build positive relationships with community members, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Communicate program information and key messages to the public.
    • Assist with event setup, registration, attendee engagement, and event breakdown.
    • Distribute promotional and educational materials during outreach activities.
    • Gather feedback from community members and document outreach results.
    • Support awareness campaigns designed to increase community participation and engagement.
    • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and community interactions.
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve outreach and engagement goals.
    • Serve as a positive ambassador for the organization within the community.
    • Perform additional outreach-related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to engage confidently with diverse audiences.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Professional attitude with a strong customer-service mindset.
    • Willingness to travel locally for outreach events and community activities.
