Position Summary
BODYBAR Pilates is looking for a high-energy, people-loving Community Outreach Sales Associate. The Community Outreach Associate is responsible for building relationships within the local community to increase brand awareness, generate new leads, and drive membership growth. This role serves as the face of the studio outside of our four walls by developing partnerships with local businesses, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations while coordinating events that introduce new people to the BODYBAR experience.
This position is ideal for someone who is outgoing, organized, and passionate about building meaningful community connections.
Key Responsibilities
Business-to-Business (B2B) Outreach
Build relationships with local businesses, apartment communities, schools, healthcare offices, and community organizations.
Schedule meetings to introduce BODYBAR Pilates and explore partnership opportunities.
Coordinate corporate wellness programs, employee perks, and exclusive community offers.
Maintain and grow a network of referral partners.
Follow up with existing partners to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
Community Events
Plan and coordinate local outreach events including:
Community table events
Farmers markets
Health and wellness fairs
Chamber of Commerce events
Charity and nonprofit events
Studio open houses
Organize and promote mat Pilates classes at parks, businesses, schools, wineries, and community venues.
Coordinate event logistics including supplies, staffing, marketing materials, and lead collection.
Partnership Development
Develop partnerships with complementary local businesses such as:
Coffee shops
Med spas
Physical therapy clinics
Chiropractors
Nutrition businesses
Schools and youth organizations
Create cross-promotional opportunities that benefit both businesses.
Lead Generation
Generate qualified leads through community outreach efforts.
Capture contact information from all events and partnerships.
Ensure all leads are entered into the studio CRM promptly.
Collaborate with the sales team to maximize lead conversion into memberships.
Marketing & Brand Awareness
Represent the BODYBAR brand professionally in the community.
Distribute promotional materials and special offers.
Assist with promoting events through social media and community calendars.
Identify new opportunities to increase brand visibility throughout the local market.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Outgoing, friendly, and confident meeting new people
Strong organizational and event planning abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Comfortable attending networking events and speaking about the studio
Passion for health, fitness, and community engagement
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
Sales or customer service experience
Event planning or community outreach
Marketing or partnership development
Boutique fitness or wellness industry experience
Success Metrics
Success in this role will be measured by:
Number of new community partnerships established
Number of outreach events completed each month
Number of qualified leads generated
Membership conversions from outreach efforts
Corporate wellness programs secured
Community brand awareness and engagement
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Goal-oriented with an ability to generate membership, retail, and private training sales
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills in-person, via phone and email
Passionate about fitness
Professional, trustworthy, and punctual
Proficient with computers and studio software
High school diploma or equivalent
Some college preferred
