    HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN

    WINTER/SPRING 2020-2021

    COMMUNITY REACH CENTER (CRC) is an Integrated Health Care and Trauma Informed Care Community that serves a metropolitan area in DENVER, CO.     WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    Provides direct support to the Human Resources Team by assisting with initiatives and projects. This position will provide quality administrative support, while maintaining compliance with federal laws, state laws, and company policies and procedures.

    • Assists with updating job descriptions to comply with Equal Pay for Equal Work Act
    • Updates employee records in electronic filing system; Moves employee record data from retired recordkeeping system to the ADP platform
    • Coordinates and completes I-9 and FMLA paperwork in accordance with record retention requirements
    • Consolidates and creates efficiencies for the HR shared document drive
    • Assists with employee benefit initiatives
    • Assists with processing Human Resources-related reports
    • Performs data entry into the ADP platform for applicants and existing staff
    • Conducts employment verifications as needed
    • Assists with recruiting and onboarding candidates as needed
    • Assists with New Hire Orientation (NEO) preparation, presentation, and paperwork as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • HS Diploma or GED
    • BS/BA in progress or completed preferred
    • One to three years of administrative, customer service, or human resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    NECESSARY SKILLS:

    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Familiarity or working knowledge of HRIS systems
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work
    • Work proactively and openly share new ideas and information with other team members
